Just when you think your day can’t get any better, KING releases their new single. Since dropping the 3-song EP a couple years ago, the ladies of KING have had fans on the edge of their seats (and computer screens) waiting for more. Wanting more. While I will be the first to admit that “Hey“ is enough to keep you entertained, I’m super excited that they have new music for us.

Black Milk – “Sunday’s Best/Monday’s Worst”
Fantastic. Black Fantastic to be exact.
It’s not just an adjective to describe the sound and energy of this song, it’s also the name of the duo the created it. Formally known as Martin Parks, the group reminds us to be grateful. To appreciate the treasures that the Most High has given us. To be the gems we were created to be. Diamonds. Black Diamonds.
Black Fantastic – “Black Diamonds”
The percussion is the heartbeat. Keeps the vibe alive. For all that they do, it’s rare that they have a chance to be seen in front of the stage. They’re usually buried behind some multi-piece kit and a sea of cymbals.
In some ways, they’re like Offensive Linemen in football – great ones make it to where teams get points on the board…but people rarely recognize them when they take their helmets off. No autographs. No endorsement deals. No paparazzi. But without them, you don’t score.
This post is dedicated to the pulse. The heartbeat. The kick. The snare. The boom-bap. This is for the drummers.
